Ginn named to serve on food delivery study committee | New

State Sen. Frank Ginn was nominated by Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan on May 27 to serve as a member of the Senate Food Delivery Application Review Committee.

“As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, more Georgia residents and families have begun to rely on food delivery services made available through mobile apps,” Senator Ginn said. “This breakthrough in mobile food delivery has played an important role in the continued growth of the Georgian economy despite the challenges Georgia has faced throughout the pandemic. Through this study committee, we hope to learn more about ways we can continue to grow this industry as we begin to return to our daily lives. I am grateful to Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan for appointing me to this task force. I look forward to discovering ways to advance food delivery apps. »

The Senate Food Delivery Enforcement Study Committee was authorized by Senate Resolution 428, passed in the 2022 legislative session. needs, conditions, or issues relating to food delivery applications in Georgia with the intent of possibly recommending certain improvements or legislative solutions.
