Sandy Romero, 25, a food delivery boy, his father Sunny Boy Guino-ohan, 47, and his uncle Rudy Talabon, 56, all residents of Barangay Banago, were arrested.

Romero is considered a high-value individual, while his father is a street-level individual, according to police.

Lt. Joven Mogato, head of the city’s Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU), said Romero was placed under surveillance after receiving information about his alleged involvement in illegal drug trafficking in the village.

Mogato said the illegal drugs came from outside the Western Visayas and were distributed here to their “customers” through its current occupation as a “front”.

The police also confiscated the money marked with 5,000 pesos from them.

The three, who have not yet been contacted for comment, are being held at Police Station 3 for filing drug charges.
