Hope you keep your “Appetite” going for this week’s Elmwood Foodie with a new Buffalo-based local delivery service.
Appetite is an app similar to Grubhub or Doordash, but it does not steal money from restaurants while serving the customer.
Do you have a favorite restaurant that doesn’t deliver? No problem, you can schedule a delivery under “What do you want?” » section on the website or app.
App founder Steve Ambrose was struggling with his restaurant marketing business during the pandemic. With limited capacity at restaurants, then the only take-out mandate destroyed his monthly income.
After struggling for so long, he decided to create his own app called Appetit. He thought about the business plan and decided that his own business was what made sense to improve his monthly income.
The app was meant to help your local businesses as they usually aren’t part of the delivery service on an app like DoorDash or UberEats.
The app features restaurants like Pearl Street Brewery and Thin Man Brewery. All the Elmwood or downtown favorites you’ve been looking for.
Support your local business today with the new delivery app Appetite.
